Community involvement

Families are a valued and an important part of our school community. Families are encouraged to become involved in their child’s education whether it be assisting in the classroom, participating in the P&C or attending school functions. Your contributions will be valued by your child and the staff.

Parents and Citizens Association (P&C)

Our P&C is a group of parents, carers and school community members. They assist with school planning, fundraising, events and volunteering. Our P&C works in partnership with our school to promote the interests of our school community.

Joining the P&C a great way to meet other families, get involved and contribute to our school's future. We would love to have you on board!

P&C meetings

Our P&C meets once per term. Dates are advertised in the school newsletter and on the Sentral parent app. Families are invited and encouraged to attend P&C meetings. Our P&C fulfils an important role in articulating aspirations for their children and has always been of great support to the school, especially in regard to raising funds for educational resources.

Volunteer at our school

Helping out at school is a great way to get involved in your school community.

Volunteer opportunities include:

• getting involved in the P&C
• listening to children read in the classroom
• volunteering on sports days and other school events
• helping supervise excursions.
