Our principal and staff
Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.
Welcome from our principal
Welcome to North Haven Public School.
Student wellbeing is fundamental to all areas of education. It is key to how we engage and develop as individuals, and to the culture of a school. At North Haven Public School we support our students and community; prioritising a sense of safety, belonging and success. There are opportunities for achievement, freedom, autonomy and fun.
We believe in sustaining effective relationships, developed through connecting behaviours.
We believe our students are people first, children second and students third.
We believe that children learn most effectively when they feel happy and safe, and that fear and threat are inhibitors of learning.
We believe in inclusion - creating a place where all children can learn and find success.
We believe in leadership, aspiration, and the provision of opportunity for all.
Together, we create a safe learning environment, nurture connectedness, and promote social and emotional learning via a whole school approach.
We are excited to be welcoming you into our school community and look forward to working together, sharing your child's educational journey.
